NAME OF VINEYARD: "Regione
Molsino" in the town of Gattinara, with a total area of 10 hectares,
at 300 meters elevation; rocky soil, rich in minerals. One of the
best vineyard of the entire Gattinara appellation with mainly southern
exposure.
GRAPES: Nebbiolo 100%.
YIELD PER HECTARE: 40 hl max.
AGEING: Minimum ageing 4 years;
3 years in Slavonian oak casks, 1 year refining in bottle.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12,5 - 13%.
COLOUR: Garnet colored when young,
turning to a brick shade when aged.
BOUQUET: Scent of violets and
red fruits, with firm spice flavour.
FLAVOUR: Dry, full and balanced;
it has an excellent structure and typical bitter finish.
TASTING TEMPERATURE: 18/20°
C.
STORAGE: Bottle has to be stored
horizontally, in a dry place, avoid light, vibrations and heat; storage
temperature 12 - 15°C. |
