GRAPES: Nebbiolo 90% - Bonarda
and Vespolina 10%.
YIELD PER HECTARE: 40/48 hl.
AGEING: Minimum ageing 3 years;
2 years in Slavonian oak casks, 1 year of refining in bottle.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12,5%.
COLOUR: Garnet coloured, turning
to a brick shade.
BOUQUET: Vanilla with scents of
berries, tobacco and mixed berries.
FLAVOUR: Full bodied and harmonic,
with typical bitter aftertaste.
TASTING TEMPERATURE: 18 - 20°C.
STORAGE: Bottle has to be stored
horizontally, in a dry place, avoid light, vibrations and heat; storage
temperature 12 - 15°C.
TO BE SERVED WITH: Excellent with
beef, game, fermented cheese and risotti; it is a perfect wine after
meal and for meditation. |
